Jay and the kids worked on this quinzhee all afternoon - impressive, right? 

I heard there was some complaining during the construction, but eight pairs of soggy gloves, 5 soaking shirts, 2 cups of cocoa and a beer later - they did it!

Too bad we're supposed to hit a balmy 40º tomorrow..... waaa waaaaaaa.

 Trey's art class (aren't they SO cute in their uniforms? Nose-picking and all!) was studying the Baroque Period a few weeks ago, and spent some time studying Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Arcimbolodo created portrait heads made entirely of fruits and vegetables, so the kids got to try it. I thought they did a great job!
